Over the years I have discovered that worshiping God especially involves those passing moments that are God’s order for our life. The problem arises when we miss those moments because we are too busy trying to figure out the way God will work in us. Walking with God is like living the life of a little child and finding out that what seems like a haphazard event actually fits perfectly in to God’s plan. It means that by faith we believe what Paul wrote:
Rom 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. ESV
In those passing moments we need to stand on God’s promises and look to Him … the One who always comes through if we stand firm. Walking with Him this way … being ever aware of those “moments” when He reveals a part of His plan for us … involves a commitment to listen to and hear His voice. And that means walking like a child with our eyes on Him … being a member of the Cult of the Passing Moment.
