During their last year in what we know as middle school, our orphans are required to take the national education test. They have consistently scored in the top percentile in the country, and our school is highly rated. That’s the good news. The bad news is that after middle school the orphans must leave the orphanage and they do not have the money needed to pay for tuition and room and board to attend high school, let alone university. But God has a solution!
At the present time we have a benefactor who has established a program for these children. For each child scoring in the highest percentile, he will pay for their tuition and room and board for 3 years of high school. If they graduate high school, he will pay for their tuition and room and board for 3 years of University. At the present time we have 185 students in that program, and all are doing very well. But that program is full currently and not taking in any new students. But God has a solution!
Pastor Moses met with the Sambia Christian Academy and presented our current need for 77 qualifying students. The academy has agreed to take on all 77 and provide for their high school and university degrees and cover all tuition and room and board; an incredible 6-year program. But the school registration is this coming Tuesday Feb 17th and that requires a $20 USD registration fee per student, which was not expected. So, at the present we need to provide $1,540 USD to cover their registration.
The Lord has delivered these children from an unknown future on the street and rewarded them for their dedication, hard work, and love and trust in Him with a pathway to a bright, productive, and blessed future serving in His Kingdom.
If you can help us take care of this $1,540 USD registration fee it will be a blessing to these children and will be greatly appreciated … The first step in their new life with Jesus.
